Day to day you will hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer. You should have: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Own brushes and basic hand tools Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
