The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Full-time, day shift. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
