System formwork carpenter — Beauregard Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. Day to day you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse. You should have: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
