Halal butcher — Chaves County

Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Chaves County, New Mexico. You will work in a meat processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
