Toolroom milling operator — Adams County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Adams County, Wisconsin. The role involves mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
