Power press operator — Tama County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Tama County, Iowa. You will work at an auto components factory. On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
