Crane rigger — Calumet County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Calumet County, Wisconsin. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites The role involves: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
