Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Covington County, Alabama. The role involves run first-off inspection and sign off the part; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; load and index turning tools in the turret; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
