Lifting rigger wanted in Stanislaus County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Stanislaus County, California. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
