HGV driver — McDonough County

Now hiring: we are hiring a HGV driver in McDonough County, Illinois. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. You will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. You should have: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
