Confectioner — Sabon Birni

We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Sabon Birni, Sokoto State. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. You will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; score the top of loaves before baking; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
