Bread baker wanted in Fayette County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread baker in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. Day to day you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Six days a week, one day off.
