System scaffolder — Surry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Surry County, North Carolina. You will work on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Requirements: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
