Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Mahnomen County, Minnesota. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
