Immediate opening: digger driver (Delta State)

Join our team: we are hiring a digger driver in Ethiope East, Delta State. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. On a typical shift you will grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. Requirements: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
