Foundry labourer • Victoria County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Victoria County, Texas. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
