Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Lampasas County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
