Crane operator wanted in Dearborn County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Dearborn County, Indiana. You will be based in an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
