Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Okene, Kogi State. You will be based in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine You will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
