Core maker — Lincoln County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Lincoln County, New Mexico. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Rotating shifts.
