Horizontal milling machine operator • Ward County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Ward County, Texas. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
