What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence On a typical shift you will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin.
