CNC programmer-operator — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Jackson County, North Carolina. You will work in a CNC machining unit. On the job you will handle: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
