Framing carpenter — Montgomery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Montgomery County, Mississippi. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. On a typical shift you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $260 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
