Power float operator — Ningi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Ningi, Bauchi State. The job is in a residential housing project. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers The role involves carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
