Groundworker — Johnson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Johnson County, Missouri. You will work on a commercial building project. Day to day you will carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. What we are looking for: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain 3+ years on the tools preferred.
