Hoist operator wanted in Itu

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Itu, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On the job you will handle: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift 3+ years on the tools preferred.
