Now hiring: CNC programmer-operator (Utah)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Garfield County, Utah. You will work at an automotive components factory. You will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Rotating shifts. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
