Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Hancock County, Ohio. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
