Turning centre operator • Wolverhampton, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Wolverhampton, England. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; load and index turning tools in the turret; run first-off inspection and sign off the part.
