Restaurant steward — Monterey County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Monterey County, California. You will work at a banquet hall. Day to day you will greet guests, seat them and present the menu; clear and reset tables between covers; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place; check back during the meal and handle special requests. You should have: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
