Crawler crane operator — Twiggs County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Twiggs County, Georgia. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
