Dispatch packer — Southend-on-Sea

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dispatch packer in Southend-on-Sea, England. Day to day you will strap and band pallets ready for loading; check best-before and expiry dates on every box; change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer; apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack; feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams. You should have: • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities • Able to follow health and safety procedures Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £1,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
