Formwork joiner • Trimble County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Trimble County, Kentucky. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules The role involves brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
