Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Anglesey, Wales. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead 6+ years on the tools preferred.
