Precision welder — Lane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Lane County, Oregon. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
