Scaffold fitter — Will County

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Will County, Illinois. You will be based at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope What we are looking for: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Rotating shifts.
