Vacancy available: elevator repair technician (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Marshall County, Kansas. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
