Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Charlotte County, Florida. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments.
