Construction helper — Darlington

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction helper in Darlington, England. The job is with a civil contractor. On a typical shift you will backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
