Plant operator — Montgomery County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Montgomery County, Virginia. The job is at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster The role involves: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment Rotating shifts.
