Powder coating technician — Clarke County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Clarke County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun What we are looking for: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Full-time, day shift.
