Tiling assistant • Uruan, Akwa Ibom State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Uruan, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at a busy tiling site. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Day-to-day duties: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges Six days a week, one day off.
