Immediate opening: we are hiring an assembly operator in Effingham County, Illinois. You will work in a packaging and assembly workshop. The role involves: • Pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses • Wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor Requirements: • Punctual with reliable attendance • Can read work instructions and basic measurements Overtime paid at a premium rate.
