Foundry operative wanted in Forsyth County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry operative in Forsyth County, North Carolina. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 6+ years on the tools preferred.
