Bricklayer • Calloway County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Calloway County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Full-time, day shift.
