Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
