Fusing press operator wanted in Iron County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Iron County, Michigan. You will be based in a busy laundry. The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Six days a week, one day off.
