Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Lincoln County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Six days a week, one day off.
