Gas commissioning technician • Ochiltree County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Ochiltree County, Texas. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
